I hope this find you well, with creative juices flowing. I am settling in to my new studio in our new Fort Langley home. The space is smaller than the old one but bright, cosy and welcoming.
After the disruption of the move and a few months with no painting, I had a struggle to get plugged in creatively. I have been doing a few experimental things and now feel excited to see where the work will take me.
Currently I’m teaching a series of acrylic classes in Fort Langley and I’ve just booked the workshop space for October to do four classes on Wednesday mornings. Details are on the workshop page.
My instructional Walter Foster booklet, “Acrylic Basics” is available now. I have a few copies and it’s also available online. Cost from me is $10.00, plus shipping. I have just been contracted to participate in another book- “Still life in Acrylics”. That should be available in Spring 2016.
We are gearing up for another weekend at Painter’s Lodge. We always enjoy this gathering so much. Dates this year are May 29th to 31st. My sister, Suzanne, and I are doing a group critique this time. Details on this annual event are on the Events page.
